It is funny how from copy of Leica style at beginning X came to another ugly DSLR style camera.
Well... Leica has the SL... maybe they copied that? 😀

everyone is saying its not good.
Where? *nobody said this
I checked it out when announced, but it wasn´t that exciting to me. It´s nice enough, but I already own 3 current generation 24mp Fujis. This is overkill for me in all the wrong ways.

Nothing could be uglier than that
Except maybe for some Sonys. To my eyes many Sony cameras look either cobbled together from mismatched parts or they look altogether unfinished.
And yet they apparently function really well. Ugly is relative.
Is that why they made it bigger?Well, Fujifilm has directly said that they targeted not only video users, but DSLR users as well with this model.
Is that why they made it bigger?
From the same interview...
¨The X-H1 is considerably larger than its predecessors. Is there a point when the size advantage of APS-C compared to full-frame gets lost?
Professionals are generally more accepting of larger cameras, and [compared to DSLRs] the X-H1 isn’t that big. And we have had requests from some of our professional users for a bigger camera, especially those photographers that use our longer lenses. A bigger grip and more solid body were both requested.¨
makes sense...even though i am on the other side of that fence...the xe3 is perfection as far as size goes...for me.
I have come to like Fuji but I don't quite understand what you are trying to say here. Feel free to explain. Cheers, PeterIt might not sell as well, but I think it is an important model for Fuji.
