Thanks for the info. I'm going t try and get a MK ll (a stretch), and I certainly don't want to add the expense or bulk of a EVF. Any additional IQ is worth the extra $100 IMO.

Does anyone have the electronic viewfinder? I like looking through a viewfinder rather than staring at the back of a camera body and in bright sunlight it's quite difficult to see much of anything.

The RX1 is a great camera. I have a friend who has one. If I could only have one camera, the RX1 would be one of the top contenders. The issues I have with it is the cost of the optional accessories such as the EVF and the battery charger. Sony must have been inspired by some of the high end automobile companies.

I can't figure out if it is a full sensor or one of those minnie mouse ones. I think I read a 3x zoom. And a 1.8 lens -- these went out with Studebakers. I can't for the life of me think of why I would trade away my Bilora Bella 44 for this thing.

I just realized you can attach an EVF on that hot shoe!
Love my rx100..... only thing I've been wishing for lately is a hot shoe for it.
