This is my 1st post here but I have been lurking as a guest for quite some time because the lure of RF has been very persistent. I have drooled for the Nikon SP and S32000 but can't find them in the used or new market and if ever there is one, price is the limiting factor. I have also long been intrigued by the Leica Ms and maybe I would get either of these in the future after I tested the waters. I'll see if I would love RF more than my Nikon SLRs. As an entry to the RF world, I recently bought a starter R3a and 40 1.4 and wow just running 2 rolls of film to it, I am now wondering why oh why have I not found the joy of shooting compact, quiet, unobtrusive and easy focus of an RF. I am really enjoying using RF in lowlight which I shoot a lot. SLRs are quite difficult to focus on this conditions and the mirror slap is also a limiting factor to shoot at lower than 1/60 speed.

I am a user of Nikon manual film cameras; FM2n, F2AS & F3HP and the D300 as well which I just sold to fund my future D700. The last few months I have been using my SLRs doing mostly B&W and that kinda rekindled my interest for an RF. Maybe the D700 will not come in the near future as I am enjoying my B&W shoots. I may even not buy it if there will be a new digital RF in the near future but not at the price league of M8. Maybe something near the RD1s price level will be reasonable for me. In the meantime I will extensivley use my R3A and look forward to getting a ZI or M7 in the future.
