I had the same dilemma. Stretched the ol' budget enough to get just one. There wasn't room for two (or three).

The kits looks quite impressive. Cannot wait to use it.

The space between the 8 and ELEMENT is less confusing.

No more so than saying you drive a "four door" car, or live in a "three bedroom" house.

Grammatically, I think "8 ELEMENT" is more in line with the other descriptors of the lens: 35mm, f/2.0, which specify numerical measures rather than a count of what's being measured.

I asked for "8-ELEMENT" in my order (with a dash) so it looks more like one word.

8-ELEMENT is what people usually call it, e.g., the 8-element 35mm Summicron.

How about '8th element'? As is 'Oxygen, element symbol O, is the element that is atomic number 8 on the periodic table'

Looking at this link it the whole idea has given us lots of oxygen!

Far to long - the limit is 8 or perhaps 9 characters (space included).

I hope to order the LTM variant when it shows up later - but it'd be the second most expensive lens to buy for me..
