[New test photos released] Leica Summicron 35/2 Eight Element copy made in China

8 element is improper ... I think.

No more so than saying you drive a "four door" car, or live in a "three bedroom" house.

Grammatically, I think "8 ELEMENT" is more in line with the other descriptors of the lens: 35mm, f/2.0, which specify numerical measures rather than a count of what's being measured.

I asked for "8-ELEMENT" in my order (with a dash) so it looks more like one word.

It needs the word “lens” after 8 element.
Saying “I drive a four door” and not have “car” does not sound correct.

I want to order one. Where the heck is that Google form you talking about??

You have to email Kevin for the link to the form, but he recently stated the order wait list for the first batch has closed. His email is in earlier posts, if you read backwards through the thread.

Oh...Wow!...it looks gorgeous!

I feel humbled to have the opportunity to own one.

Thank you Maker; thank you Kevin Xu.

(I too like the Chinese characters on the lens case).

How about '8th element'? As is 'Oxygen, element symbol O, is the element that is atomic number 8 on the periodic table'

Looking at this link it the whole idea has given us lots of oxygen!

Far to long - the limit is 8 or perhaps 9 characters (space included).

I hope to order the LTM variant when it shows up later - but it'd be the second most expensive lens to buy for me..
