Newbie on canon RF. Lens question

Hello,
this is my first post here 🙂 I bought on the bay a Canon 7s, this is my second LTM camera; the first one is a zorki 4. So, now the question: is my jupiter 8 compatible with my canon?
What lens do you suggest i can buy, Soviet lens, canon or Cosina voigtlander (my budget is low, about 200€)?

The canon 50mm f1.4 is excellent but finding a shade(S-50) for it is difficult. The CV lenses have good reputations.

Try the Jupiter-8, but often the FSU lenses must be adjusted (shimmed) for use on a Leica.

There are MANY lenses available within your budget. The Canon 50mm F1.8 is a good choice. The only exception, the 40mm filter size is an odd one. If you do a lot of B&W, that should be considered.
