Shhhs, I ordered my NEX7 back in August, still no sign of it.
Did you try adjusting Creative Styles? If you're a raw shooter, you should turn the contrast all the way down, which unplugs shadows quite a bit. Also, a leather half case, like the one from Gariz, will bulk the camera up nicely.

I really do not like the EVF and live view. How it does not have smoothing and clarity. I expected more.

utterly mistaken at many levels---but certainly a common refrain. It is unfortunate. The NEX 5n and the 7 seem like awesome cameras with great sensors. They are crippled by the fact that the NEX system's lenses are less then stellar and don't compliment their sensors. I know you can get an adapter for the ALpha lenses, but that takes away from the compactness of the NEX system.
you should do your homework.the 24/1.8 is the only decent lens for it.

"Creative Style" settings should have no effect on RAW capture, which are processed outside of the camera in image processing software, Lightroom, CS5, etc... "Creative Style" settings would effect only in-camera processed jpegs.
