So now you have one side. Nikonians are always complaining that Leica gets all the glowing attention.

Well, one Nikon cliché I'm fed up with is:

Nikon lenses are better and cheaper

The other one is:
They make the best lenses in the entire known and unknown Universe

Nikons are best used with Nikkors

Nikons are easy to load. Give me a break .... (collecting the F back after it fell on the ground ...)

I'm not sure if this has anything to do with Nikons or Nikkors but I seem to hear/read a lot of 'who cares about bokeh', 'bokeh never mattered' and 'what the hell is bokeh?' type statements from Nikon users. Yes, not a Nikon cliche but an observation.

Granted I come from an Oly background, but it was my understanding that those are truisms, not cliches.:)

You could probably hammer nails with an F3. I would give it a try but I need my F3. I'm a nikon guy, but I do agree with some of what is said here. Seriously though, I could build a house with the butt of my MD4, however thats only because the previous owner installed his own custom tripod mount on the base of the drive which was constructed out of quarter inch steel. So ya, I could drive a nail with mine.
