Nikon Z6 / Z7 Photos....

Sorry Alberto, you are correct, it is the 57mm version, was a typographical error. I have edited it to correct it. There was a 58mm f/1.2 prototype which was larger, which Konica lists in their lens information, but may not ever have reached production.
Nevertheless, it is a personal favorite, and a lens I would never sell. https://fstoppers.com/gear/rare-len...-and-produces-incredibly-sharp-results-389100

The colors out of this glass are unusually saturated, in a good way. As well as having a unique way of rendering out of focus areas and fall off from central focus.
I keep a Konica film body solely for use with this lens, almost never loaded with anything but Fuji Pro 400H, for which it seems a match made in heaven, pastels, but rich pastels.

Thanks Larry
I knew this lens and I hope to buy one sooner or later.

NikonZ7 + Nikkor 50mm f1.8 S 1/125 sec
Not sure if the Smugmug version will show it, but the camera is capable of some nice tones, for digital.
Edit: Well, maybe not so much with this compression.

Looks good, even compressed! That 50 always seems to deliver. Such a great combo.

Yeah good one Larry. Looks almost -- dare I say it -- as good as the Monochrom :)

:)I wasn’t going to say that around here, but my experience with the Z7 is the reason I didn’t buy a Monochrom a few months ago. Someone better at post processing than I am could probably match the output from a Monochrom, tone for tone, sharpness for sharpness, in real world scenarios, I’ve been thinking. I know I haven’t even scratched the surface of what this sensor is capable of.

Okay, now I’m just trolling.:) Ha-ha. Love the camera though.

This camera was actually the reason why I sold my 246, and determined that I didn't need the M10M.

I will be interested to see what the Z8 might bring -- whenever it comes out.

^ Larry, have you forgotten how to take a bad picture? Your recent output has been stellar! You and your Nikon Z rig seem to have really bonded together in a really good way. Well done!

All the best,
Mike

Thanks, Mike! Believe me, I have not forgotten:)
Love the camera, though. It covers for a lot of user errors.

Yeah, something odd there... Clearly mid-day sun, the worst light of the day, harsh and unforgiving, mad dogs & Englishmen, barren landscape etc... And with one of those sterile characterless modern lenses! Yet, yet, it looks great, fine tonality. How did you do it? Some postprocessing trickery?! :D
