I was invited to show my camera collection as part of a local history expo here in Rockhampton, Queensland - Australia. Had a lovely day chatting to everyone about cameras, the death of film and what is my old camera worth now! The RF Nikons were of great interest as many had never seen a Nikon RF before. 3 people have promised to give me their relatives camera collections rather than throw them out. All in all a great day.

Wow, Rocky! I love Rocky. I was there two years ago and my company ran out of funding to send me this year. If I'm ever in town I'll send you a PM so we can go burn a few rolls of film.

I keep telling everyone Rocky is the Paris of the East. Well, it was when I was a kid growing up there in the late 50s and 60s ;)

It is just amazing to see your post. Congratulations on the kit. I purchased my first Nikon in Rocky (an FTn I think) and used to get film developed at the Kodak store in East Street. Crikey! now you have residents with RF Nikons!

G'Day TWoK,
It would be great to catch up if you get back to Rocky.
Love to burn some film with you and shout you a beer!
Peter
