just bought a nokton 35/1.4 s.c
I wonder if I use a B+W MRC filter on it,
would it perfome more like a mc version and lost its character ?

I highly doubt it. From my experience, using a lens with no filter then sticking on a multi coated filter did not change the image in any way that you can see under normal circumstances.

I've got one on mine and it seems to be doing fine.
Here's some samples if you want. I can't tell much difference between it and the Skopar 35, other than the fact the Skopar doesn't go to f1.4

I've been curious about this lens. Wondering if it's worth selling my 35mm Summicron for it. As I could use the extra cash and stop.
As for filters. I have a 40mm Nokton with the front element AND filter, both scratched ridiculously. And the lens still performs prime. It's incredible.
