nokton 50/1.5 on a cl?

Never tried it. I think shooting it wide open may be pushing the limit of the RF accuracy, I think.

the cl can handle the 40/1.4 so this should be ok.
besides i have an eagle eye and a rock steady hand😉

i'm just wondering if the finder is blocked too much for comfortable use.

as a side question...do you see a benefit to having 2 50mm lenses, one an f2 and the other a 1.5?

I've *put* mine on my CLE--for a laugh--but I've never shot with it. I think Ray might be right, though. It'll probably push the limits a bit.

oh, yeah! good point. I shoot with the 40/1.4 on my CLE all the time.

🙂

victor,
i have the 40/2 summicron that i can trade for a like new nokton 50. i could sell the summicron and buy a 'better' digital p&s than i was going to but i'm wondering if a slighter faster 50 (as a second 50) would be better than a slightly longer zoom on a digital.

Oh. Nevermind. 😱
