Never tried it. I think shooting it wide open may be pushing the limit of the RF accuracy, I think.

as a side question...do you see a benefit to having 2 50mm lenses, one an f2 and the other a 1.5?

i have the 40/2 summicron that i can trade for a like new nokton 50. i could sell the summicron and buy a 'better' digital p&s than i was going to but i'm wondering if a slighter faster 50 (as a second 50) would be better than a slightly longer zoom on a digital.

The nokton is a really great lens, but it would seriously make the CL front heavy. The nokton would be a good match on the ZI though.
