They met at 10:30 but it was cats and dogs so they waited inside station for me to arrive at 11:00. And told me I was buying a drink for every one, cause I was late, tusk tusk.
If some one is bringing an OMn body I think I can bring a 21mm & hood...
I normally use 2x Kiev but I can bring a limited amount of other gear.

I'd recommend meeting in a pub / coffee &c. because waiting around waiting for people (through no fault of their own) is a right chore.

Anyone bringing a Leica M series? I'd really like to compare the feel to that of the older models.

Bob, I'll be bringing my two 0.58x M6's along with the 21mm, 35mm and 50mm lenses. You'll be welcome to borrow a body and a lens for the day. I could take care of your GR-1 while you play with the Leica... 😉 (Note that my equipment is in "user", rather than "fondler", condition - but it works well enough for the intended purpose).

I think Vincent may be heading down on the Saturday anyway.

Not sure yet if could do two days, but I'll keep you posted.

Anyway, I'll be around on both days - arriving about 10am at Picadilly on the Saturday and not leaving before 4pm on the Sunday.

OK, in preparation for Sunday, I have spoken with Jem at the Real Camera Co, and he is willing to open at 11:30 for an hour or so to give the RFF contingent a chance to browse & buy.

If we are all meeting up at Picadilly Station at 11:00 that gives us time to wander down to the shop and take in some of the canal along the way.

I must remember to phone him at 11:00 to remind him, now, who is going to remind me?

The plan is to meet between 10.30 & 11.00am at Piccadilly train station.
I suggest either where the big illuminated signs in the middle are or in the cafe which is up the escalator on a balcony above. The main thing is look for people with camera bags. Mine is black with some white stripes on it. 🙂

It would be well worth obtaining mine or somebody's mobile number, in case they're running late, get lost or want to meet somewhere else, trains on Sundays can sometimes be a pain. Just PM me.

It's only raining when it's bouncing off the flags 😀 Keeps the hayfever at bay.

Train times - tell me about it ! I can get there by train either in the middle of the night or at lunchtime - so much for public transport.

I'll be coming on the bike if it's dry - so that means I'll be coming in the car. (and I ALWAYS get lost in M-chester) 🙄

Hi Noel,

A 10.57 trains sounds spot on to me. If we know you're en route then I'm sure everyone will wait if it's delayed.

No park and rides in Manny I'm afraid you just have to plunge into the centre and park up. There are plenty of car parks though.

Thus far the meting time and place is the same both days though that depends on those going. As yet, I can't be sure if I'll make it on the Saturday and if I do it may be a little later, so a contact number for the Saturday crew would be handy.
