It's funny, it's like they pre-launched it a couple of months too early. Had they announced it and shipped it in a month or two they would have killed... but then I guess they wanted to preempt the competition by being first... except there wasn't and still isn't any competition.
Disaster aside, it's like Thom Hogan has been saying, the camera companies are tone-deaf to what serious photographers want. There should have been a dozen cameras in this category by now, they should have introduced serious APS-C compacts years ago.
I'll eventually get one or one of the others that are similar. They missed their opportunity though, you can't expect people to wait around six months and not get distracted.
