NW Landscapes with Fuji GSW690

Hello, everybody! I've just received my Christmas present: three Kodak Ektar 100 rolls, developed and scanned by NCPS lab (it took three months to finish these rolls and two more weeks for lab and delivery).

There are mostly Oregon / Washington landscapes. In case anybody interested, I've uploaded some photos in full resolution:

My experience with Fuji GSW690 is short but positive - I bought it half of year ago and I need to say, it is real workhorse - simple and reliable landscape camera and actually compact and lightweight for 6x9 format.

Yes, very nice. 3 months well spent. I wish I had your patience. I always try to finish the roll on the day... and that explains alot 😀.
This coming year, I'm planning on being more discerning with my 6x6 and 6x7.

A testament to the Fuji GSW690. Many familiar subjects, as I live in Central Oregon....

Great shots of the Painted Hills, within a 2-3 hour drive for me, Smith Rocks and the Crooked River about 4 miles from the end of my driveway, and that old abandoned house just going out of Madras toward Warm Springs. I have a 4 frame pano of that house, but you got it all on one frame of the Fuji. I think I'm going to pick up another GSW,

I've owned a few of the interchangeable and fixed lens Fujica and Fujifilm BIG rangefinders.

I purchased a GSW690III in superb condition from a fellow by the name of Don Metz in Vancouver, WA., across the river from Portland, OR.

Shortly before he sold me his GSW, he went on a trip across the country. I've posted this before. These shots were taken on his trip, and posted on PBase.

One of the images is called the Kent Diner. In the 40's and 50's we used to drive past it on the way to my Grandparents house near Pendleton Oregon. Only thing.....we never drove past it, we always stopped for gas and burgers. Actually you could get Gas for your car, and Gas from the best grilled burgers in Oregon. From that point the car ran great, but we tooted inside the car, all the way to Pendleton.

I drove by that diner, all boarded up as in the photo, just last year and stopped for a peak through the windows and a couple of image captures. That Orange Crush sign is as vivid today as it appears in this gallery, and it did in the 1950's when you could stop for a "cold one".

Some superb work there, I especially like "Mount Adams. Sunset". I just bought 5 rolls of Ektar myself, hope I can do it justice like you have.

Beautiful colour photos made with the GSW. I've had a GSW 690 for a few years now but only used it with B&W. Your results in colour are excellent.

I wish I would live in Central Oregon, it is real paradise for photography and the weather is so much better than in Portland.
