thanks for the invitation. I wouldn't bring an SLR, but it's just too far away from Berlin. dreaming of flying over to visit NYC and Vancouver next year though.

Darren won a door prize of a 100 foot roll of Ilford Pan F (expired, but refrigerated) for being the RFF'er who traveled the furthest to attend a Meet-Up. He also came back for a stay, and worked in NY for a breif time.

All are welcome. Usually a lot of fun, laughing and tons of gear. In February we had a Leica M-Body beauty contest that was over the top. Had two M9's: one "vintage" and one new. Also had one Meet-Up where drunk girls joined in because we were being so self absorbed.

"One girl asks me, "Don't you think I'm pretty?" and I respond, "My girlfriend definately won't like you," and then all hell broke loose.

Later I asked the drunk blonde, "Do you think a bunch of old guys with expensive cameras is sexy?" and her response was, "Very sexy." LOL. We were all howling.

Looks like I will be missing things if we do December 12th, I have to go to Cuba that day. Of course if we do Saturday Dec 11th it also has the virtue of being my birthday...

Well, suddenly, the 11th looks real good to me. (Maybe we can repeat that date for January 11, which happens to be my birthday.) 😀

This is going to be one of the more turbulent months in my life (I'm moving, albeit a silly-short distance), but I intend to make it to see youse guys!

I wish I could join you folks at the White Horse; that place holds a sweet memory for me. On the day I passed my final doctoral exams at NYU, i celebrated with beers at the White Horse. No drunken ladies present because no ladies allowed (that surely dates me.)
