New York NYC December Meet-Up

Sorry folks, I will not make it this time.
I had a mini meet-up ;) with Pramodh yesterday. Just the two of us but hundreds of others around us.
I was literally "floored" when he recognized me below the curtain of the art installation in the Park Ave Armory. Have fun folks, see you next time.

Haha. Easy to spot a guy with a M9M. I could see your smile from a distance:D. I had a lot of fun at the armory Klaus. Thanks for a good heads up. The meetup was a lot of fun as well. Pity you couldn't make it

I intend to take off of work a week or so during the beginning of January to avoid the coldest weeks of the year. It would be great to have the January Meet-Up towards the end of the month. A lot of traveling happens due to the Christmas and New Years holidays.

Cal, I am open to any Sunday. Can you bring your Noct Nikkor again? I forgot that Andre gave me a Nikon F to EOS adapter a while ago, I'd love to see how it renders on my 5D :)

Hey Cal, can we do the January meet-up possibly in Harlem? That pub opened up down the street and seems pretty good!
 
This is the first year in six that I will not be in NYC for Christmas and New Year. Just doesn't feel right.

I'll table it on the thread that I'll start for the January Meet-Up. I really love living in East Harlem, too bad that my rent stabilized luxury apartment got unwound by going condo. Now I have about a year left on my lease before the big rent increase that surely will displace me.

Now I'm looking to move to Hudson Heights in the fall of next year. I'll be way uptown, but the M98 express bus drops me right off at work on the upper east side.

BTW Lots of great shooting way uptown.

The Noct-Nikkor has been a popular lens lately. I kinda ruined Arri by bringing it to the last meet-up for him to try on his new D-700. He kept laughing because he was so happy.

I'll surely bring the Noct-Nikkor.
