Does anyone need a Magic Lantern guide for the Sigma DP-1?

We should play the numbers. How many M9's will be at the next meet-up?
I say nine.
John, Congrats on the 24 Lux.

Thanks, Cal and Andre. The 24mm Lux is big but not like 21mm Lux big. It is marginally okay to balance on a M9. I am pleased by the result so far.
Cal - Congrats on the 28 Cron ASPH. It's in my list to get someday. Just the hood has been pulling me back. BTW, if you need a Cantonese tutor, I know one ... me. Where are you moving to in Manhattan?

John,
My solution to the FUGLY hood was to immediately buy the 12466 Leica scalloped hood that looks pure evil as a replacement, but $359.00 kinda hurt.
As far as Cantonese, I have deep regrets, but even the Spanish I once knew so well is becoming forgotten. All the education I have kinda filled my hard-drive. Now if I learn anything more I fear that I will only get dumber and become more confused. LOL. Its one of the reasons why I stubbornly still shoot only film. To me film is like a deadly Kung-Fu move: why not use it all the time when you need it. LOL.
My dad wanted to send me to school in Chinatown to learn Chinese, even though we lived in Long Island. It was probably a good thing I didn't because I was kinda crazy back then and it would have been likely I would of gotten involved with the gangs. I was an angry kid in the seventies and was a handful.
If I could speak Cantonese, Spanish and English I'd be able too speak with over half the world, and I'm sure I wouldn't have this boring day job that I now have.
Right now we are waiting on a one bedroom on Fifth Avenue, at the north end of the Museum Mile, 107th Street, but basically its Spanish Harlem. I'll be right across the park from you. We are first on the list to see the unit, but right now the tenants have to move out first.

I kinda like that rectangular hood for the Summicon (even though it blocks the finder).

Even with the scalloped hood there is VF'er blockage. I'll bring both for comparision. With the rectangular hood if you close focus all the way to 0.7 meter a quarter (full quadrant) of the VF'er is blocked. With a 28 Cron an external VF'er is required.
Call me vain, but the scalloped hood is manditory for "evil factor." LOL.

I'm going to leave my M9 at home this time...

Cal- I think the three languages cover more than half of the world by population. That's a great idea with an alternative hood on 28 Cron. Good luck with the move.
John- Please bring your M9, please! If, like Cal said, we have 9 M9 or more, we can do what Tom Abrahamsson did with his M2's, stack them up and take a picture of them with an analog M.

I'd like to guess six (6) M9s at the meetup.
The 24 Lux is going to need a bleach bath after all the groping tomorrow.

Absolutely, Many thanks in advance.
I'm sorry to report that the Domke J-802 is gone. Forgot that I had traded it some time back for a Thinktank bag.

I was looking forward to meeting you all, but sadly I had to leave for a job. My friend Chris, however, is planing on stopping by. He's a complete beginner to the rangefinder systems but is starting to learn. Here is a pic from a year ago so you know who to look for (he's a little more used to having RF's stuck in his face now):

Ok guys I've landed and hanging in Queens right now. Looking forward to tomorrow!
My closest station is woodhaven boulevard, next to Queens Mall. Anyone coming from there?
