New York NYC September Meet-Up

Yep, I'll be there.

From Woodhaven Blvd, take the R Train towards Brooklyn and get off at Prince St station. From there, it's just around the corner of Prince St and Lafayette.

That should take you 45 min door to door. I'll be there by 1:30.

If you wanted to, you're welcome to meet me near my stop and we could head over together, but that might be a pain for you. (You'd need to take the Q60 from directly in front of the Queens Mall entrance by Queens Blvd west and get off at 46th St/Queens Blvd [ask the driver], and I could meet you by the 46th St-Bliss stop on the 7 Train.)
 
I'll be there, but I'm coming from Manhattan. If you get to Prince St, you can ask someone on the street and they'll point you the right way... it's a very short walk.

Yes, but others will be there at 1:00, it's just that I might be a bit late.

Don't worry, the meetup thread always goes quiet before a meetup. Perhaps it's because we'll all be seeing one another soon enough, or perhaps it's because folks are busy stuffing their bags before coming.
 
If I brought some expired film would anyone be interested at $1 a roll? I have a bit of a stash and ended up selling my film cameras.

Hey guys! I met Cal at an NYU art opening and he invited me to this awesome sounding meetup! My little M6 & 50cron will be there! The Hassie might come out too!
 
And...I've been laid low by a cold this weekend. Not fair! :mad:

Hope the turnout is/was good. I'll just make a point of making more prints to show (and give away, including some new work) for October. Meanwhile, I'll be meeting up with bobkonos during the week (it appears he couldn't make the meet-up either).

Looking forward to pics of the meet!

It was good fun meeting you all.

Thanks for helping getting rid of that film. It would have just gone unused for who knows how long. Hopefully it brings you guys some great images.

Well, what do I say? I was welcomed into the NY network with open arms and thoroughly enjoyed myself, and no flaming today ;)

I would like to thank everyone for a great time, both chatting and shooting my way through the day (though not much shooting really). Although I've been to NY twice before, I've been stuck at Bryant Park shooting super hot models and never had the chance to experience the streets of NY....till today, and I'm very grateful to share that experience with you all, so thank you!

So, lets let the pictures do the talking....

The highlight of the day was seeing Helen Hill in action with her gorgeous black M4, our only female member to attend.

Thanks to all for welcoming me! It was great fun, despite the two major fails.. #1- Spilling beer on leicashots M9.. and #2- Shooting all day and having my film not advance.. I thought getting 47 frames was strange..

I am on the way back to Chicago, I hope to be able to make it out for another meetup. PM me if anyone finds themselves in Chi-Town in the future.
