There is going to be some level of interpolation due to the 4-1-1 design when using full size raw, but I really believe that this is gonna be a killer monochrome camera. The low size raw is exactly the size of the 4.9mp green and red color channels. I suspect that the 4 corresponding blue channels are going to be averaged.
- smaller raw file
- faster file write times
- 1-1-1 color grid
- better high iso then Merrill's
- maybe better dynamic range

I really think it´s gonna be better, but kind of shocked me...i think the dp series were my match...in every way...but now this design i feel i´m going into a discotheque...!!! but i think i´ll get me one...perhaps the 28mm fov.

Again, what happened with my 21 fov and my slow small zoom lens???

Sigma is not listening me...
