Cal,
I also registered to the PhotoPlus this year. Is our after-party meet up (starting at noon) going to be held somewhere near the Jarvits Center? I need to bail out at 2ish and would like to plan my route of escape.

John,
We generally leave around noonish and head to Puck Fair. Not sure what is good for you, but you might not want to try and cram things together.
Cal
We can certainly have a meet-up near the Javitts center. It makes more sense.

John,
You're the beer diva: you pick the location.

Man, around 34th on that side of town? I know of nothing. Maybe that new joint we were looking at (red half shirt place).

John,
Houston Hall is on the Westside and a little closer.
INSIDE STORY: John, Jeff, Pro-Mone and I wandered into this massive indoor beer garden one weekend that features timber frame construction, major high ceilings and very likable beer maid uniforms that consist of tight red shirts that expose mid-drift. The place is mucho huge, perhaps 4500 square feet (no lie) and is a bit more upscale from Puck Fair.
It is not a sports bar according to Dan, one of the bartenders. The television was kinda huge perhaps 15-18 feet. BTW the space is brightly lit because of massive skylights.
Probably a good time to try this space because it is not on the Eastside like Puck Fair.

John,
Thanks for the link. We'll have to bring our own light bulb. LOL.

John,
Either one is fine with me. I imagine Flat Iron can't be as huge as Houston Hall. I wonder about the red shirts...
Cal
A lot closer though Cal. Could be touristy though... but Beer Gardens are generally big.

John,
Your call: you're the beer expert. LOL.

It doesn't matter to me really... just trying to make it easy for us on that day. Puck Fair on Saturday could be different than Sunday.

John and Cal,
Thanks for the research. I googled image Flatiron Hall, it does not look as big as Houston Hall online photos. But, Flatiron Hall does have second dining level. However, it may compete with folks going there for brunch according to feedback in Yelp. In one of the Saturdays before PhotoPlus, I can go check crowded Flatiron Hall is.

I've now found housing! Staying the night Friday and potentially Saturday. Looking forward to this, I haven't done a photo meet up in years.
