New York October NYC Meet-Up

Not a beer expert but beer snob... ;)

I think one of the two affiliated beer gardens should do the job on that day. JMQ, where do you want to have it?
 
I will be in New York city between November 2nd and November 8th. If you are doing a meetup during that time, I'd love to join you. Or, if any of you want to meet for some shooting/coffee/lunch, I'd be open to that. I used to go to New York all the time when I was a kid but haven't been there in many years.

Generally we try to accommodate guests and Meet-Ups are held on Sundays most of the time except for PhotoPlusExpo in October.

Is Sunday November 3d a good time for you?

I just found out that the non-profit I work at has an event that Saturday night. I don't think I can make the meet up since I'll have to be back upstate by 5. See if I can't figure out travel logistics.

Mudman,

No stress. Many of my friends who work for non-profits are deeply commited to a cause. Mucho respect. There will always be other Meet-Ups. The world I have found to be not that big, and its always the same people who make a difference again and again.

It's still the 26th, but John has not picked the location yet. This month's Meet-Up is on a Saturday because of PhotoPlusExpo. The location we want to be on the Westside near the Javet's Center.

At 10:00 AM some of us are going to "Group-Up" near the registration booths to see the show. Around noon we will break-off and go to the regular Meet-Up. See the PhotoPlusExpo thread for free registration if you are interested in the Expo.

Even if you can't make the event it costs nothing to register. Hopefully I'll see you at the Expo.

BTW there are models and shooting opportunities. The Leica booth always has impressive prints.

When noon happens it's a good time too leave because of the crowds.

Cool, but realize that afternoon means big crowds and this I find not relaxing. :) Kinda crazy but part of me is a loner. The Expo really gets mobbed fast.
