Oh I like to be at the seaside... oh I do like to be beside the sea

Kind of a stretch for seaside but here it is anyway. Red and blue. Floodlights above and running lights (green and red, starboard and port) are on to present a load for the generators as the diesel engines are always on at idle. Diesels use very little fuel at idle and are left on so that they are always ready.

You were warned. Here are two shots with the new HB zoom, first is full wide angle, second is full tele, ~35mm and 100mm effectively. Taken from my porch in what we get here for weather in March. The upside is snow is very rare and when here, short lived. I am familiar with this view as it is out my backdoor and have seen the shingles on those rooves often. Honestly, this is the best presentation of color and definition I have yet to see, all things considered.

Yes, the shots are boring and prosaic but itis a new lens and it is just too crappy and rainy to go out today so this is what you get. Better will follow, I promise. ;o)
