Joe,
The Oly lens hood for 50 1.4, 50 1.8, and 28 f3.5 are one and the same.

Barrett has already responded to Joe's need for a hood for the 28/3.5, but this is not correct. I think it's just a typo. The hoods (both metal and rubber varieties) that fit the 50/1.4 and 50/1.8 also can be used on the
35/2.8, not the 28/3.5. The 28/3.5 and 28/2.8 take the same hood, which is a flared, screw-in unit.
Both types of hoods are relatively easy to find on oBoy. I prefer metal to rubber. The metal hood for the 50 and 35; they are clamp-on reverse to store on the lens and allows the lenscap to be used at the same time.
Also, the hood for the 100/2.8 is the same hood used on the 85/2. The faster lenses (24, 28, 35, 100, 90) do command much higher prices than the f2.8 and f3.5 samples. I am entanced by the 35/2;
Graham Batteson has some great 35/2 shots. 24/2 and 100/2 photos are a bit harder to find.
All this talk has me wanting to haul out an OM and give it some exercise. Which lens, which lens ....
