HCB did the same "trick" for 60 years? yes, he did. He made beautiful images, often documenting epocal events and always trying to find harmony between space and time. The difference between HCB and many modern photo "artists", is that it was not necessary for HCB to make 100 wall sized prints of "Behind the Gare St Lazare", to show that this was good stuff. However, if you take a digital colour shot of your water closet, blow it up 2x3 meters, make 100 prints, make up a new "bowel art movement" manifeto, and stage an exhibition on Times Square, you will be surely acclaimed the next "hot" photo artist.
