To make a small fortune in photography you need to start with a large one.

I've not read that one for some time. Couldn't stop laughing.
There's some great stuff here.

And of course who could forget Stewie's pronouncement about photography in Family Guy.

Which I had to laugh at for the very good reason that I have done pretty much this, myself..................

How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb?
100
1 to change it and 99 to say how they would do it differently

Depends on ambient light and wattage. Remember sunny 16... Changing the light bulb outdoors is easier - you can guesstimate. Yes, to change a 100W light bulb on a sunny day it takes 100 photographers, but in similar conditions you need only 25 photographers to change a 25W bulb. With larger aperture the number of photographers can increase, but focusing on the light bulb may be difficult.

I actually like..........................................................................
"How many social workers does it take to change a light bulb?
Answer - " Only one but only if the light bulb really wants to change."

Are we speaking about street photographers? In public place you do not have to ask the light bulb for permission to be changed.

A bit similar to:

Sure, Ken Rockwell deletes a bad photo or two. Other people call these Pulitzers.
Ken Rockwell doesn't wait for the light when he shoots a landscape - the light waits for him.
Ken Rockwell ordered an L-lens from Nikon, and got one.
Ken Rockwell spells point-and-shoot "h-a-s-s-e-l-b-l-a-d"
Ken Rockwell's digital files consist of 0's, 1's AND 2's.

Can't remember where I read it, I think it was on this forum...
Two photographers are talking in a bar. One notices the other's camera and says: "That's a nice one, where did you get that?"
"A lady photographer and I went out for a walk in the woods last week. We were hoping to get some nice photos that morning. After an hour of walking she stops and takes off all her clothes, looks me in the eye and says: Take whatever you want!"
"Good choice. The clothes probably wouldn't have fit."

A man had arranged to go on a photography walk with a group of fellow enthusiasts early one spring morning. During their photographic wanders a funeral procession passed by and our man took off his cap briefly and bowed his head in the direction of the procession. A fellow photographer commented that he though this was an amazingly respectful and sensitive thing to do.
To which our man replied:
"She was a good wife!"
