I've constantly get the itch to reskin my cameras. Sometimes I hold back, like with my M6, but other times, I just let it all hang out! All skins are from cameraleather.com, except for the EP2

This is a Zorki 6 that I CLA'ed then painted black and reskinned with Griptac

OL17 with Indian Red Leather

EP-2 with JnK Lizard Red

Hasselblad 500 c/m with Grey Griptac

My first reskinning, the Yashicaflex B with Red Leather, god bless Morgan at cameraleather.com for helping me custom fit this one with just reference photos!

I've been wanting to do my X-Pro 1, but I cant decide what I want to do with it! I'm also planning a working all white 500 c/m copy of the Sachs Nasa 🙂

I reskinned my 35RC last night while waiting for trick or treaters. It's my first attempt at reskinning and I used leather scraps from an upholstry shop. The leather is much thicker than the original, so the edges are kinda rough but it has a great soft feel and looks a lot classier than the original material.

I'd love to reskin a few of mine, but I can't bring myself to... The M6 is a bit tired, but I can't think of anything more inventive than black, one Zorki 1 has a beautiful patina, and the other's in such good nick I can't bring myself to destroy it! I may do the FED 2 at some point soon, though...

Anyone done anything with funky paints, like hammertone or crinkle top and bottom plates? (Except the LHSA Leica...) Enero, that's the finest looking Zorki 6 I think I've ever seen!

Shame indeed, but a mighty fine looking piece of crap nonetheless, maybe you can't polish one but you can reskin it and make it glow!

Picked up a beater omG and the leatherette had to go. I've been wanting to try canvas for a while now. I might try waxing it. I dub this the "Canteen Edition".

Sorry about the crooked edges, those strings on the edge peel really easy. It'll probably re-do it one of these days.
