Cameras. I has it.
I am a hunter of Mechanisma Photographicus Analogi. One specimen I have is shown below, from the Exakta Exakta family, a Varex IIb with common Zebra markings.
Since they are endangered, I capture them in the wild and release them on the grounds of my own private habitat, where they are nourished and cared for.

Not sure it qualifies as a sport but my family likes to go hiking - here we call it tramping. This shot is from a couple of months ago, my son and his partner on the descent back to Lake Hawea after an overnight tramp in the Otago region.

Something a bit more low key compared to what @Deardorff38 posted above, which is a whole other level (literally and figuratively) of "sport". My son climbing Backside Left SDS (V2), Black Warm Up Boulder, Kraft Boulders.

Shooter of Film...
I never really consider Cycling as my "Sport" it was more of an escape from the house when I was a kid and then as a mode of transportation before I could drive...I'm not a natural cyclist nor have I ever competed but have done many organized rides...
I've done two organized Century rides (100 miles) and at least three on my own and then the many, many other paid for rides of various lengths.
My current bike has 14,000+ miles on it and as of yesterday a set of new tires.
Picture below is from a ride from my house in Cucamonga to downtown Los Angeles (42 miles).
The freeway below is the 101 which runs through LA...

Barnack-toting Brit.
I recently had the chance to go out to Wales with a friend and camp in a field for a weekend while he took part in a downhill longboarding & street luge event. Street luging is crazy:

(Leica Ic, Voigtlander 28mm Color Skopar, Rollei Retro 400S in LC29)
These guys were going 45mph+ into every corner, running in packs of up to six racers at a time, often so close to each other they were rubbing elbows. It was a challenge to get any shots at all as you only had a split second to grab the shot every time they did a run!

The best camera is one that still works!

Thanks, Keith. I've still got three more rolls to develop so I hope I've got some more gems in there.
I'm glad I took a 135mm Hektor along for the odd landscape-centric shot, too. It was an incredibly scenic location to watch some madmen (and women) throw themselves down hills at speed:

Spent a day in the ice on Mount Ruapehu a couple of weeks ago, it's an active volcano in the central North Island. Took my Nikonos III which was ideal in the conditions and with gloves on.

More downhill nonsense from the trip to Wales; some of the guys placed glowsticks all the way down the track after it got dark, making it look like a multi-coloured alien landing strip. This was the one corner that had a "proper" light on it (you can see it on the post in the background), and spotting people appearing out of the dark at 30-40mph and trying to trip the shutter at just the right moment was nigh-impossible - especially after a few beers.
Fun, though.
