Canon LTM Pics with Canon 50mm f/1.4 LTM, please !

Canon M39 M39 screw mount bodies/lenses
After looking at the marvelous photos of this thread, I have convinced myself to get one for my Leica. Before going out buying one could you please advice me what could be considered a reasonable price for that lens?
Sorry for not creating a new thread about it.

on ebay lately there are quite a few sellers from Japan who offer cheaper prices than these LTM lenses used to sell for 2 or 3 years ago and there are very few, if at all, sellers that are not Japanese. The 1.4/50 roughly starts from 150 usd lens only and goes up to abt. 300 usd incl. caps and hood + shipping, around 200 should buy you a good user copy. Most European buyers have to add minimum 20% import on lens + sending price, not sure about Greek customs.

Great, that is well within my budget and even taxed through customs I can afford it. The customs tax will be more or less the same as in the other EU countries.

Love the render from your lens!
Your 50/1.4 is type I or type II?

I've noticed that the lenses that once sold to Japan a few years back are now flowing the other way.

Very nice young lady portraits, pedromoreno, and welcome to RFF on your first post!

Probably going to regret selling this one but... so many 50's.
Always wanted to try out an early Serenar 50/1.5.

I'm liking your Canon 50/1.4 shots Helen. I think it does very well into the light as you've shown with your semi-silhouetted shot. Here's my contribution against the low winter sun recently - M3 50 Canon at f5.6, Delta 100 in ID-11
