Looks like the snow has mostly melted away in Fort Dodge, but the tree tells me that spring has not quite sprung. Fine photograph that captures what it's like there right now, and the Pentax camera is no slouch, either.

Last year by this time, the trees were in full leaf, the tulips and lilacs had already come and gone, and the lawn had already been mowed a couple of times. This year, the trees barely have begun to bud. But at least we have been getting rain, the river actually looks like a river and perhaps we will not get baked and scorched like we did last summer.
