This is an interesting shot. Those who have seen the film ZULU will remember the dissolute called Hookie who was mostly drunk.
He was a real person, God-fearing and a teetotaller, unlike the character portrayed in the film. He committed suicide later in life and like many of these old hero's, was largely forgotten until relatively recently.
This is his grave, restored. It's not too far from where I live so well worth a photograph.
