A question on the MLU - does the mirror come down when the battery dies? I use a camera with a mechanical MLU on telescopes and fisheye lenses for astronomy which often requires hours long exposures. (Not my F5 though, it's too big. My astrocam is an OM1n, which has mechanical MLU, and everything else for that matter.)
In fact let me generalize. How is the F6 with batteries - and what kind does it use? I find that the F5 does best with lithium double-a's, and not very well at all with rechargeable aa's.
