I love the car shows, wish I had more time to get to more of them in my area. I was fortunate and had access to a Lamborghini for 2 months! Wow, I am lucking to be alive. The "hardware" exceed my abilities as a driver and you could get into trouble with ease!

last light at 1.4....
last light at 1.4....
The last light as it started to fade out of a fountain in Aspen last night.
M8, 50 ASPH @ 1.4, 1/6000th, ISO 160....If you look at the 100% frame, the 50 ASPH clearly out resolves the M8 sensor. This is with *zero* sharpening or noise reduction in ACR-4.
I also shot some of this on Kodachrome 25 with the same lens...

American Strat?
I had a japanese one that was really fantastic - but theres something about the made in USA ones that you don't get in the asian and mexican versions

Yeah...a special edition strat that was refinished (who ever refinished it did a fantastic job, a perfect thin nitro finish, it really breathes) Then I dropped some fralins in it and it's incredible.
Plus I got it for 400 after the refinish, which is an absolute steal. I guess the racing stripe is a turn off but the guitar is perfect.
The Japanese are fantastic, great workmanship, you can get a great strat for not a lot of money regadless of origin.
I will agree that there's something about the ones that come out of the american factory that makes them special. My shop got some incredible Masterbuilt strats that were a dream to play. I almost bought a John Cruz masterbilt in olympic white many times over.
I could ramble on about this for days if someone doesn't stop me...
