Steenkamp - great shot! I was just in Berlin a few weeks ago and this is killing me. I loved it there so much. I have a shot of my girlfriend at the same place.
And you guys are flat out killing me with this M8 stuff. I'm ready to mortgage anything I've got to get one and some leica glass.

Great images, all of them, especially Mr. Steenkamp and Stuart's.
I was worried that by acquiring an M8, I would have to shoot stuff, out of focus, heads and feet cut of, with a lot of glare and moving the camera as I press the shutter, preferably on a angle,
, just kidding.
Again, really nice photos, keep them coming and thank you for posting them.

Wonderful M8 images. I posted my first today in the gallery. Nothing too imaginative, just playing with this beautiful camera until I must give it back to my friend.

I have been lurking here
I have been lurking here
and enjoyed seeing all these fine contributions
here are some from my M8
with the 21 Elmarit f2.8 ASPH with BW ir/cut filter
using a 560 Telyt f5.6 with the Viso III
a macro using the Viso with a bellows and a 135 Tele Elmarit head with an ir/cut filter
the 75 Lux at f2 ...btw, the shirts are this color
I have an M8 gallery here with larger versions, shooting information and many other samples here
http://www.pbase.com/artichoke/m8
as can be seen from the many outstanding examples in this thread, the M8 is an extraordinary digital camera ...I have been impressed with all the options available in using it, particularly if one is lucky enough to get a Viso attachment for it

Great photo Badris! I know I should not be comparing to film, but that photo has a very silver feel to it.

Thanks for the kind words, Stuart. I guess all those college years in the darkroom did me some good for having a feel for what a silver gelatin print from a Tri-X/HP5+ neg should look like, even though it's a digital image in this case
