Nice shot scho...how did you get the filter to stay on there, or did you just hold it?

I used the "O-ring method", documented here:
http://www.l-camera-forum.com/leica-forum/leica-m8-forum/20026-uv-ir-cut-filter-cv-15-a.html

Basically, you just need a 39mm UV/IR cut filter (either Leica or B+W 486) and either an appropriate size O-ring or tape to friction fit the filter into the builtin lens hood on the CV 15. Tape is easier but you have to reverse mount the filter so it does not contact the front lens element.

Early morning M8 shot

Early morning M8 shot

Could not miss with this sky and my M8, two mornings ago at dawn. Location near the Pearl River, Guangdong Province, China. M8 with 50mm Summicron at 5.6 - self coded lens.

It poured down rain not much long afterward.

M8, ISO 1250, Tri Elmarit at 21 mm and 4,0 and a 1/30. The picture is a small crop - some 20% - of the original.

- The mafia boss and two of his cohorts.

Another picture on the edge of what an M8can do hand held: Tri Elmarit at 4,0 - 1250 ASA and incredibly 1/8 second exposure. Nyhavn in Copenhagen.

That's a very cool shot Jeremy. Did you take one without the people as well? It's just so futuristic looking that in some ways I think it might be better without people...do you have any robots?
