Saigon River, French colonial-era pier. During the 19th Century, a one-way sea voyage from Marseille to Saigon would take 3 months. The number of French settlers in 'Indochina' was relatively small, mainly because the French considered Indochina an economic colony rather than a settlement colony. Leica M7 - Zeiss C Sonnar 1.5/50 ZM - Fujicolor 400.
