Thank you, Helen. It's ongoing and changing as chemo commences. But since the cancer is ovarian, a focus on still life flowers and fruit seems,well, intuitive, especially as they age and mutate.
 
A rare foray into colour ... for no other reason than I feel I should occasionally. (DP3M)

Well fall colors in the SF bay area is definitely not anywhere as vibrant as the north east.. we just don't get as cold. But the leaves will change color... I have never been lucky to get back east just during the perfect fall colors :(..

Anyway just some shots today from a walk around my neighborhood using the SD1 Merrill and the 18-200 mostly between 150 and 200mm..

Sigma DP1x. Frustrating camera, no bulb mode, rubbish in low light, poor higher ISO's, terrible LCD.

Strangely I get files I really like and can't bring myself to get rid of it!

nice light from the snow that fell yesterday. i wasn't sure what to expect with long exposures, but on a tripod they're no issue at all.
