Thanks Tom. It's looking across Thirlmere to Helvellyn in the English Lake District.

Beautiful images in this thread.
Pete ...I`ve never seen Helvellyn from that side although I`ve been up it.
That really is a lovely shot ...the colours are just right.

90mm Summicron E55 version:
I have a problem with mine on the GXR mount, though - it won't focus to infinity. In fact, it will go only up to about 20 feet or so. On the other hand, it will focus to about 0.5 metres.

Here an image taken with a Telyt 500/8 mirror.
Even the ufos - you can see - are in the shape of a doughnut.
It was early in the morning, waiting for the solar eclipse.

Thank you Jamie. I've been shooting the Leica Summicron 35mm v2 on my GXR for a few months now.

The Summicron 35 seems to work fine.
Beautiful pictures, Duane.

That is a better driving machine than a Ferrari! Not to speak of my Opel Omega.
I have found an offer for a Summi pre FLE. I am thinking.
The 21 and 24 Summis are too large to use as every day lenses, I think. But these focal lengths would fit more into my line.

Adapter arrived today. Holy moley! Only had time for a test shot or two, but I'm impressed so far.
ISO 400, 1/60, f/16
Jupiter 8 50mm
50mm on the GXR's crop sensor is really too long though. I guess I'll have to track down a Jupiter 12 or maybe a Voigtlander 35mm.
