I'd probably taken off the yellow filter for the photos you took inside, Mike. I'd prefer a bit more detail in the darker areas. ;)

Probably right, but a bit of a PITA with the screw-in hood and the drop-in filter. I could not find my VALOO. Still, quite happy with the results from the camera and lens, I think that it will not need a CLA.

If I weren't so darn broke all the time I'd already have sent mine to mr. Scherpenborg in Nijmegen, The Netherlands. He used to be working at Dutch Leica service center ODIN, he's an old man now and has many years of experience. I doubt if anyone is more skilled when it comes to Barnacks and film M Leicas.

I've been without work for almost 3 months since I had the weird TIA-like episode. Not expecting to return to my one-man business anytime soon. If things take a lot more time I'll have to sell the whole shebang and pull out of business... Well you know what it's like Blake. Trying to re-group and once again charge into battle here...

absolutely --- it's hard out here for a pimp ---- the divorce put me on a financial whallop

Very nice, DoK!

I used to have a FED-1 Komandirski with the 2.0/50mm Summar copy, a FED 4.5/28mm and a FED 6.3/100mm lens with finder. Very nice set and I think I sold it too cheap.

The GXR is a very nice camera to shoot old glass on, I had that too and currently have a Sony A7, for which I still need to get a 39mm adapter.

Keep up the good work!

Thank you, johannielscom!
Currently, I am very interested in the pre-war lenses. I'm lost in thought about Leitz Hektor 5cm/2.5 and Elmar 3.5cm/3.5.
