Very nice, DoK! That 28mm FED lens is a desirable lens, I would love to shoot one but can't afford the eBay prices.

I've been out shooting my 3.5/50mm Elmar, and will post some shots soon.

Nice shot, Gabor! Well composed and I like the grain. Classic feel!

The white hair next to the left fellow is distracting... ;)

Johann, thanks a lot!

I had to look twice to spot the hair, well seen! Should be more careful with the negs ....

Johan,

The guy in the photo asked if I could get him a print to carry this photo in his helmet.
So, I had some prints made and he carried one with him over the last seven days as we were gallivanting through Belgium from the French Border at Cendron to the German border at Eupen. Following the route of the 9th US Infantry Division in World War 2 with another 110 re-enactors.

And I shot about 7 rolls of Fomapan 100 with a Leica IIIc and a 1939 Summitar. ;)

Portemerion is a village built to an italianate design by architect Clough Williams-Ellis. He used reclaimed and old building materials, so much of the fabric of the place is well over 100 years old.
It was started in the 1920's, built around a country house and several cottages, and was gradually added to over the years.
Although on the coast it has a microclimate so that plants which normally wouldn't be happy in Wales flourish quite happily.

The original country house is now an excellent hotel, and one of our favourite places anywhere.

So - exotic location is a very apt description!

Thank you, I've added it to my list of places to visit should I find myself in Ol' Albion again. :)

I still have a backlog of some 360 images to work through from my Belgium trip ...and just added another two rolls shot with a Leica IIIc and my restored Hektor 5cm f/2.5 to it from a small Market Garden event here in the Netherlands last weekend.

Don't visit as a day visitor. Book in for the night. The food is excellent, as is the service.

I've never actually used my pristine 1941 Red Curtain IIIc.
I have another with a scratched-out logo and the rubber/glue has soaked through the red material turning it black. Not certain I want to replace the blinds on it just yet, despite their stickiness.
