Hi, still a newbie to Yashica rangefinders. Saw a set of the aux lens for just SGD18. Not sure whether it is meant for MG-1 or GSN. Are aux lens for MG-1 compatible for use with GSN? And vice versa?

Any help on this is appreciated. Thanks. 🙂

All I can tell you is that I have a set of auxiliary lens, which I almost never use, that fit on my GSN but do not fit on my MG-1. You will also need a viewer to use the auxiliary lens.

Hi there and welcome to the forum.

I have a set fitting 55mm filter thread with finder currently in the Classifieds section for sale.
I am asking 15 US.
It is a Petri set of tele and wide aux lenses originally made for the Petri 7s 45mm/1,8.

Please let me know.

Yes they still are. Let's see. Must be in the classifieds. Well, it is a Petri set wide and tele with finder. The lenses are for 55mm filter thread.
I have a photo of the other version, 52mm, but everything else is similar.

I have a Yashica Electro 35 GSN also, as I see another subscriber is looking at your lens, and he ask the question if your set will fit the GSN, which is my question too.

I calipered my threads and I come up with 54 mm, but sometimes the thread measurement is given to the center of the thread depth, as I remember, and that may make it 55. What say you?
