Hi, All!
I've just pulled the trigger for a Bessa R, and have a few conjectures/questions that I'd like some help with.
Firstly, I've been shooting C41 color negative film from the drug store with an old Kodak Signet 40 RF, scanning to computer, and making BW shots via my photo editor (Elements 4). Getting back into RF after many years of SLR and DSLR, and haven't given lots of thought to developing my own negatives. I got tired of THAT years ago, and don't think I want to go back.
My REAL question is...what easily available negative film, B/W C41 and Color C41 is the "standard" or "favorite" of the shooters on this forum? (Yeah, I know, my mileage may vary...).
I'll print my own stuff, and frankly, like the computer-aided darkroom workflow WAY better than a wet darkroom.
I'm sure I'll get deeper into the film questions after I've done some shooting with the Bessa...the recent re-discovery of my old Signet prompted the experimentation with drugstore film, etc., and as I still shoot with my Canon 10s along with my Canon DSLR, this might just be a sidebar, or might turn into a major interest...dunno yet, but a modern RF certainly appeals to me.
Sorry for the rambling...thanks for your time.
Regards!
