RD1 Questions?

Hi All,

As a Bessa owner I've been lurking here for a while and I am now seriously
considering the RD1 (if they show up again on the refurb.site).

However, I am curious as to the batt charger. Does it in the US come as a
universal 110-240V or 110V only?

Also, can someone direct me to a site where i can download a Raw ERF.

Its a universal charger - you might just need a plug adapter from Radio Shack or similar if you buy one from outside the US. Mine is marked 100-240v, 50-60hz...

Like Terao said about the charger if you get one from outside the US, all you need to do is change the power cord. I used one from Radio Shack (#61-2876).

As for the erf's, I've uploaded a few junk shots to my website that you can download and play with. They are around 10mb each. I'll leave them up until after Christmas.

Yes, universal charger is what I expected. The Epson info site didn't specify that.

www.aignes.com has a program called Web Watcher, which enabled me to snag an R-D1 yesterday. I had it set to check the Epson website every 5 minutes on a running computer and send an SMS to my cell phone when it changed.

http://www.couponcabin.com/coupons/epson/index.htm has coupons for Epson products (obviously, other items as well if you recurse the URL). The 10% off code (6ZNAXFP) is good until Dec 31st, 2006.
