Ok, back to the more serious matter of messing around with my pinhole cameras.

Um, what? Back here in reality, many places in Europe are shutting down this week, with the highest daily positive tests since the pandemic started. But again, this thread is supposed to be a distraction from that, so can we please stop bringing up these topics? I already have to spend every waking moment of the day trying to find employment in the toughest job market in ninety years, can we please just focus on photography?

Much strength to you, one of my biggest stressors the last years was to get into a stable career track and am very thankful to have found a good job in 2020. It is a basis to my sanity in these times.


I did take a break to visit my folks just having come back today.
Last week it was all about Halloween, and I honestly say: Why do people keep trying to celebrate it? It is a scary enough reality, and the empty airports were creepy enough and real itself as the pandemic.

Hope the new administration brings the best for the US and beyond!

Covid stress is partially there, and goes from background noise to a louder signal that I pay attention to. Europe is getting hit.
I skipped a friends' gathering today as I saw some risk, and I don't feel "my luck" should be challenged too much. Strange to say, but I am looking forward to Monday at the office.

More on the topic of photography, I plan to have much more dakroom time the upcoming weekends. Shot 3 35mm rolls on my family visit. Plenty of RC paper, a nice box of fiber, but I am low on Lith chemistry.

I just became a typewriter repairman and restored this 1924 beauty yesterday. This is what I have been doing as my COVID-19 self-care, restoring typewriters and writing on them, sometimes giving them to dear friends.
