Relief from US Election or Covid stress

Just sad the The Naturist Society didn't put up a candidate. Finally, someone with nothing to hide.

Ok, back to the more serious matter of messing around with my pinhole cameras.

Much strength to you, one of my biggest stressors the last years was to get into a stable career track and am very thankful to have found a good job in 2020. It is a basis to my sanity in these times.


I did take a break to visit my folks just having come back today.
Last week it was all about Halloween, and I honestly say: Why do people keep trying to celebrate it? It is a scary enough reality, and the empty airports were creepy enough and real itself as the pandemic.

Hope the new administration brings the best for the US and beyond!

Covid stress is partially there, and goes from background noise to a louder signal that I pay attention to. Europe is getting hit.
I skipped a friends' gathering today as I saw some risk, and I don't feel "my luck" should be challenged too much. Strange to say, but I am looking forward to Monday at the office.

More on the topic of photography, I plan to have much more dakroom time the upcoming weekends. Shot 3 35mm rolls on my family visit. Plenty of RC paper, a nice box of fiber, but I am low on Lith chemistry.

At 2030 Eastern time, in less than a half hour from now, David and Josh at Leica Miami / Red Dot Forum will discuss and take questions about landscape photography equipment and practice with SL and S cameras. That will be a nice relief to bend our thoughts away from unpleasantness! Er, meanwhile the president-elect addresses the nation. Choose your poison!

I just became a typewriter repairman and restored this 1924 beauty yesterday. This is what I have been doing as my COVID-19 self-care, restoring typewriters and writing on them, sometimes giving them to dear friends.

I wish I could share my feelings. We are now armed at home. My cousin had an intruder this early AM and his dogs scared the man off. ......this stuff is just starting......
 
This thread makes has evolved into something that seems not to be focused on photography.
What more can I say.
 
The thing that's really annoying me is that with everyone trapped indoors, old film camera prices have gone way up compared to last year!!! :O
