Hi guys, I put two photos in a gallery here which I think are the two I would like to use. Let me know what you think of them. Once we get the size information I will go and have them professionally scanned.

Speaking as someone who arranges his RFF Gallery by Camera and Lens I would be interested in seeing photographic examples from a wide range of cameras and lenses.
ONE QUESTION: If this is a for-profit published book, will signed model releases be required for the pictures published in it? I am reminded of the story of a couple photographed on a beach used in a calendar. When the couples Married Partners saw the picture, two divorces occurred and the photographer was sued. This goes beyond the Professional Portfolio use.

Guys - we have reached the number of photographers we needed for this round - and the sign-up list is now CLOSED.
Barret, sorry the slot filled up. But the way this seems to go there will be a book 2 coming out as well so stay tuned.
Only true rangefinder cameras this time John

Brian, you can read up on our rules for model releases in here: http://www.pbase.com/rsilfverberg/project_status

the snow must go on
Hm, just curiosity, did Jorge Torralba not want to be in, or was he just too late? because if it's the latter, it's a pity.

I'm not sure Pherdinand but you rest assured that there will be a mentioning about RFF.com in the book !

Very confused
Rich,
You said I am in at spot 22, but only true RFs. Sorry, don't have one of those at this time, so please feel free to give my spot to the next in line.
Maybe next time.
Thanks anyway, John

Rich, my pick would be "Over the Shoulder" and "One-Day Strike at Macy's"
I think I'm going to give my slot to someone. My personal picks are Winter Days and Craft Girl and both would need model releases. :bang:

Kris, don't give it up yet. I have received some emails indicating that no model releases would be needed in this case. I'll follow up.
I opened up the question here: http://www.photo.net/bboard/q-and-a-fetch-msg?msg_id=009Uqa

AndColor, sorry but the cap has been reached this time (went much faster than I think anyone thought!).

We will however need 'backups' should anyone not be able to complete their participation. I'd say we need two backups to provice enough buffer. So far I have Graksi but would love to add you as the second backup. Deal?

It might be wise to have a backup for me.
edit: But I'll certainly try, just in case I can't make it by the deadline.

I'll be a backup for the backup! Does the Contax G count?

Thanks for the heads-up though Biber - it does help.
To make sure we have a dedicated group there will probably be a HARD deadline for some task in a week and a half from now - most likely the 'Complete and submit a photo of your camera'. People who can't meet that deadline may be a friendly nudged..and after that asked if they want to give up their spot.
But bottom line is Biber don't stress out too much:
- A photo of your camera in a week and a half and two photos for submission by end-September isn't that agressive really
