Ricoh GXR A12 50 & 28 Image Thread

Andreas, wonderful color in both senses. I don't have the 28mm module; it would make my GR jealous. ;-)
 
someone with older 35mm elmars/tessars/etc. should opine--I have clones only, and only in MF. The Ricoh gxr schematics show a more complex set of elements, though. You might compare the 50 2.5 Color Skopar thread for a modern comparison.

yes Robert, I particularily like the colors, they remind me to those of Takumars which I like a lot.
I must confess that I have not used it much neither, basically just that very day when I had bought it, walking around Osaka. I simply enjoy manual lenses more, so I have two reasons why not to get the GR, even though it is calling me at times

Robert,

I cannot find a career job in my hometown. I have to move out to Edmonton, Alberta to find a career position. Frustrated and saddened because I have to pick-up again!

I hope it's a good move, and an opportunity to settle your family & kids in a friendly community. I think you'll find some photographic/RFF community there, no?
 
My uncles horses like me a lot. I sneak them apples when he is not looking. Photos taken with a 28mm f2.5 and a 50mm f2.5.

I am enjoying digital and color more than ever! I do wish the GXR focused faster though!

I am I the only one still using the 50/2.5 and 28/2.8 on RFF anymore?

That image of the tractor makes me rekindle the lust for the 28! I only have the M mount-sensor now, so I have been toying with the idea for the 28 as well.
 
Mike, I still have and use my 33 2.5! Not as frequently as in 2011-12....but I'm glad see how sumptuously you're using it and the 28.
