Which leica did RF use whilst shooting The Americans ?

the photos in " The Americans " look like they were taken with a 35mm lens.

I had a photography teacher who claimed that Frank used a Rollei 35 quite a bit although I don't know if he did for the Americans or if they were around at this time.

the Rollei 35 was not around in 1955- 56 for "The Americans".
a Rolleikin is the closest Rollei got to a 35mm camera in those days.
maybe he used a Leica IIIc and a 35mm Zunow lens.
