Rollei 35 pictures

Another. This flag-painted Quonset hut has been here for decades. I've shot it with a bunch of different cameras over the years!

Tessar is prone to flare. I use Rubber Lens Hood. Anyone found a Lens Hood that does a better job?

Mine flares a lot too. I don’t have a hood. I see knock offs on ebay but I’m guessing they mean no filter? Anyone know? My Rollei filters dont have front threads.

I also notice some Rollei 35s online have the distance scale in metres on top/feet underneath. Mine (35S) has feet up which is annoying. Is there any rhyme or reason to that distinction or some way to twist it all around?

Lovely shots btw Bingley.

I should also add, as someone who looked at loads of online reviews before buying this camera, not a single one mentioned the negs come out upside down!
Not a big deal and obvious once you've loaded it, but just for information.

And a few pictures from mine (35 Xenar) right way up ;)
